Swiss specialists for smart access take part in Las Vegas exhibition again in 2024
It’s showtime in the desert: BBC Bircher Smart Access will be showcasing its smart access solutions at the upcoming exhibition part (April 25th/26th) of the IDAExpo+ 2024 in Las Vegas – to be discovered at booth 543.
The IDAExpo+ is a combined congress and exhibition event which is taking place in Las Vegas this year, organized by the International Door Association (IDA). BBC Bircher Smart Access is proud to be part of the exhibition in South Hall 3 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. You can meet the Swiss experts for door and gate automation and safety at booth 543 – doors are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 25th, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 26th.
ExpertSystem: a complete portfolio for automatic gate safety
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest solutions from BBC Bircher Smart Access: first of all, there is the ExpertSystem, a complete portfolio of safety edges for door and gate automation. With its six different profile heights, simple mountability and the optional wireless signal transmission, the ExpertSystem leaves nothing to be desired. The pressure-sensitive edges deliver an highly reliable and unobtrusive safety element to almost any door and gate application – be it revolving and carousel doors or sliding, swing and folding gates, for example.
The ExpertSystem has recently been refined so that all six available profiles now offer the easy “click-in” way of mounting which further reduces the effort for installation. Customers from BBC Bircher Smart Access additionally benefit from flexible delivery options: you can order your safety edges preassembled at custom length, as standard 2 m kits or as a modular system for simple self-assembly. Whatever the choice, system advantages such as quick response time, ease of use and seamless integration are guaranteed.

“Any access smart and safe” – new DualSense sliding door sensor
Further innovations to be seen at booth 543 include the ProLoop presence detector, the Hercules 2s microwave motion detector and the award-winning CleanSwitch – a contact-free switching solution that can be applied flexibly and conveniently in many access scenarios. The IDAExpo+ 2024 presence of BBC Bircher Smart Access will also feature the all-new DualSense, a combined radar-infrared sensor for sliding door automation. Thanks to a new design and usability concept, DualSense focuses on maximum ease of use while not comprising on functionality – the radar sensor reliably opens the automated sliding door based on motion detection while the active infrared protects its secondary closing edges.
David Biscan, General Manager North America at BBC Bircher Smart Access, concludes: “We want to be present in Las Vegas to demonstrate our rich portfolio to a greater audience and to show what we’re capable of. Just recently, we hired a new National Sales Manager for the US, Jacques Vaarre, who is a very experienced person in the industry. Together we’re looking forward to the exhibition and to meeting present and new customers – we’d love to see you art IDAExpo+ 2024, booth 543!”
