BBC Bircher Smart Access will be exhibiting numerous innovations at BAU 2019
BBC Bircher Smart Access will be presenting its latest innovations at booth 110 in hall B3 at BAU 2019 in Munich. Under the motto “Experience Smart Access”, BBC Bircher will once again be demonstrating its expertise in the field of innovative, tailor-made sensor solutions at the BAU 2019 trade fair. BBC Bircher solutions make access points to and within buildings and vehicles more sustainable, safe, hygienic and intelligent.
Smart means sustainable
Industrial buildings in particular offer significant energy-saving potential. At BAU 2019, BBC Bircher will be presenting its 3D sensor system for the energy-efficient control of vertical doors. The AXS3D system opens the door just far enough to allow vehicles or people to pass through safely so that it can be closed again as soon as possible. BBC Bircher will be exhibiting this new development as a complete package, including an energy-saving calculator and a mobile app for sensor configuration. The solution helps industrial companies to reduce energy costs whilst simultaneously protecting the environment.
Smart means safe
For many years, BBC Bircher has been known on the market for its safety edges and wireless transmission systems. BBC Bircher is now going one step further by combining both products into a single solution for uncompromising safety at closing edges on sliding gates. The solution comprises a new, high-performance safety edge generation with integrated wireless transmission in line with safety category 3 and performance level d. Thanks to the quick mounting system, closing edges are protected in accordance with the relevant standards within a matter of minutes. This complete solution, which will set new benchmarks when it comes to the protection of sliding gates, will be presented for the first time at BAU 2019.
Smart means hygienic
Any place in which groups of people are found can be a breeding ground for germs and other pathogens due to the frequent touching of contact surfaces, such as door handles. BBC Bircher has developed a practical solution to this problem: CleanSwitch. The radar sensor allows users to open automatic doors in a contact-free, hygienic manner by means of a deliberate hand gesture. Furthermore, the Red Dot Award winner boasts an attractive design and features visual LED feedback, providing modern architecture a further design highlight. BBC Bircher will also be presenting its new CleanSwitch integration options for switch ranges of the manufacturers Feller, Hager, Gira and Jung.
