ThermoSense passive infrared motion detector

ThermoSense motion detectors feature tried-and-tested passive infrared technology, which immediately detects temperature differences between people and animals within the detection area and triggers a switching operation straightaway.

More on the technology

Use on revolving doors

The ThermoSense detects people and objects within the detection zone straightaway based on their temperature, then causes the revolving door to start moving.

Safety for automatic doors, industrial doors and passenger lifts

The ThermoSense passive infrared motion detector itself does not emit any beams. It detects objects whose surface temperatures differ from their environment. As soon as these objects enter the motion detector's detection zone, their thermal radiation is routed via lenses to detector elements. This detection process triggers the switching operation.

18 Fresnel lenses are installed in the front cover directly. These lenses create an invisible carpet over the detection area, which can be adjusted precisely and almost however the user likes.
